Rai Way obtains gender equality certification
Consistently with the corporate sustainability objectives relating to the creation of a system to strengthen the monitoring of the profiles of inclusion and enhancement of diversity, in December, Rai Way obtained the certification of the Management System for Gender Equality in line with the requirements of UNI/PdR 125:2022.
The certification is part of mission No. 5 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP) and is an achievement that testifies to the company's commitment to reducing the gender gap in all its most critical aspects and fostering the professional growth of women.
Rai Way's path to certification began in 2023, saw the strategic involvement of the Gender Equality Steering Committee, and included the completion of a gender equality management system including policies and KPI. Among these, Rai Way's gender policy fits into the framework of the strategic objectives and targets of the Sustainability Policy and Plan, and is its natural complement. In the corporate perspective, gender equality, talent culture and female leadership contribute to the improvement of corporate performance, ensuring diversity of visions, values and perspectives of Rai Way's human capital.
Guaranteeing an inclusive culture and organisation that respects gender equality in the starting conditions, translating the commitment into ethical and behavioural principles and measurable objectives that ensure pluralism and the development of professionalism based exclusively on the criteria of merit, skills and competence, are the aims that have inspired the configuration of the Company's strategic plan of actions; a complex of interventions, to be considered in a multi-year perspective, that sees a profound attention to paths and actions that act in the sign of inclusion, social responsibility and work-life balance adapted to the different phases of personal and professional life.
