Rai Way leader in sustainability: from CDP Climate Change upgrade of score: B to A-

Rome, 8 February 2024 – Rai Way was promoted in the CDP Climate Change rating assessment, with an improved score from B to A-, thus certifying the Company at the Leadership level.

The main strengths that determined this result are: "Emissions reduction initiatives and low carbon products," "Scope 1 & 2 emissions (incl. verification)," and "Risk management processes". In addition, significant improvements were recorded in the areas: "Risk Disclosure" and "Value Chain Engagement."

With particular reference to environmental issues, Rai Way has embarked on a path aimed at achieving the goal of decarbonization of its activities, including through investments in energy efficiency and 100% procurement of electricity from renewable sources.

The rating company's recognition, coming just days after the certification for Gender Equality, is the result of Rai Way's ongoing commitment to sustainability issues

The company is in the process of completing the development of its new ESG plan for the future.
